AMHP Data is the Association of Mental Health Providers’ own evidence observatory.
Purpose
To bring the evidence on mental health in the UK together in one place: reports, research, register data and datasets contributed by members and public bodies. The portal does more than store them. Agents read every document and draw out a summary, its claims and its figures. Once an administrator approves them, they become a searchable knowledge base with dashboards.
Who it is for
Four circles of readers: the public, registered users, AMHP members and administrators. Every document carries an access level, and that level applies everywhere, from the evidence list to the answers given in chat.
Core value
The Ask the evidence assistant answers only from indexed documents and cites its sources. When there is no evidence, it says so plainly. Questions that signal a crisis are directed to help rather than answered with advice.
In short
A place where AMHP can show what is known about the state of mental health in the country, where that knowledge comes from, and let people ask questions of it.
