2025/26 was the best the Trust has achieved for many years, with recruitment, staff retention and reliance on agency all continuing to be very well managed. We continued to invest in our systems and management information, and the income losses experienced in the first half of 2024/25 from higher-than-normal void beds was tackled effectively and the Trust kept within its annual void budget for the whole of the 2025/26 year.
