Phoenix Enterprises' support helps prevent negative outcomes such as increased demand on social services and worsening mental health.
Without Phoenix, there would be significant impact on the public purse as well as the local community. Without Phoenix, our people would: Remain permanently on benefits and lead less fulfilling lives. Experience worsening mental health requiring medical intervention. Place an increased demand on social services (if our people did not come here, they would need somewhere else to go, or a support worker to provide daily structured activities for them ensuring they are occupied and keep out of trouble). In a few cases some would most likely be disruptive or cause damage through vandalism.
